Als de schoolbel eind’lijk gaat
en de deur wijd openstaat,
rennen alle kind’ren, groep voor groep,
snel het plein op naar de straat.
Zie ze vrolijk hupp’len, groot en klein,
heerlijk stoeien in de zonneschijn.

Annelies loopt op een draf.
Moeder haalt van school haar af.
Bob de hond die rent haar tegemoet
met een vrolijk luid geblaf. (waf waf)
Samen met haar moeder loopt ze fijn,
