59| Eeuwige schepping

'k Ervaar de verwond’ring en de ontroering
over de wereld, het groots firmament,
over de soorten, de vormen en kleuren
van vogels en vlinders en al wat ik ken.

'k Zie ook mezelf en m'n innerlijk leven,
de hoogten en diepten in heftig contrast,
en weet dat de mens met z'n vele facetten
in 't eeuwig proces van bewustwording past.

En de verwond'ring en de ontroering
spreken van scheppende liefde een taal.
Alles, ja alles rondom en ook in mij
is deel van het eeuwige scheppingsverhaal.

Eternal creation

I feel the amazement and the emotion
for all the world the great universe,
for all the species the shapes and the colours
of bird-life and insects and all that I know.

I see myself and my innermost feelings,
the highs and the lows in such contrasting ways
and know that the people with their many facets
are part of the process of eternity.

And the amazement and the emotion
depict the language of creative love,
all that surrounds us and also within me
is part of eternal creativity.
